HRIS Analyst - Remote

Overview

Barnard College is seeking a highly skilled and process-oriented HRIS Analyst to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be a systems-level thinker, focused on executing HR systems and processes with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

In Short

• Administer and support the College’s HR Information System (HRIS), including Workday ERP.
• Ensure smooth daily operations, system configuration, and data integrity.
• Optimize HRIS for new or improving existing processes, workflows, and enhancements.
• Conduct system updates and participate in testing new features.
• Provide data analysis and reporting on HR-related metrics.
• Support HRIS-related training and documentation efforts.
• Manage the HRIS data lifecycle and assist with audits.
• Ensure HRIS compliance with policies and data privacy standards.
• Act as a point of contact for HRIS inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
• Must be proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort with working remotely and flexibility for in-person meetings.
• Knowledge of HR compliance regulations.
• Familiarity with system integration and troubleshooting.
