Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to lead the financial operations of a remote organization with 250+ fitness club franchise locations. This role manages daily accounting functions, ensures accurate reporting, oversees month-end close, and supports the yearly audit. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, multi-entity experience, and thrives in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

• Oversee and organize the work of the accounting team.
• Manage daily accounting functions including cash management and accounts payable.
• Oversee the monthly financial close process.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
• Manage submissions of monthly and yearly tax filings.
• Prepare financial analyses, summaries, and reports.
• Support the annual audit process.
• Prepare employee bonus processes.
• Prepare weekly cash forecasts.
• Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in ERP systems such as Sage Intacct, Ramp, and Bill.com.
