In Short

• Continue developing our trading and communication tools in Python
• Support the integration of market communication systems (especially AS4 protocol)
• Contribute to the design and implementation of algorithmic trading strategies for energy products
• Develop and maintain database structures (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB)
• Implement interfaces to external market participants (e.g., transmission system operators, EPEX Spot)
• Assist in error analysis, performance optimization, and documentation

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
• Very good knowledge of Python and good knowledge of Java
• Initial experience in database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
• Solid knowledge in the development and use of REST APIs
• Understanding of network protocols, API design, and/or market communication is a plus
• Interest in the energy industry, automated trading, and tech innovations
• Very good English skills, German skills are a big plus
• Independent, structured working style and teamwork skills
