Vice President of Financial Reporting and Strategic Investments - Remote

Overview

Axon is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Financial Reporting and Strategic Investments to spearhead our SEC reporting, accounting policy and consulting, ESG reporting, strategic investments due diligence and accounting, and stock compensation administration areas.

In Short

• Lead the preparation and review of all SEC filings.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Partner with auditors to manage the audit process.
• Provide leadership on complex technical accounting issues.
• Develop and execute Axon’s ESG reporting strategy.
• Drive transformation initiatives in financial reporting.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
• Oversee stock compensation plans and compliance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on financial strategies.
• Provide insights based on financial data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• 17+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in Big 4 public accounting preferred.
• Deep expertise in SEC reporting and technical accounting.
• Proven track record of leading transformation initiatives.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities.
