In Short

• You are an SRE Engineering Manager with experience building and operating large-scale systems.
• You have a deep interest in observability, including building and operating observability infrastructure.
• You will lead a team of software experts in building complex and impactful observability systems.
• You will mentor and grow junior engineers.
• Location: Remote
• Reports to: Senior Site Reliability Engineering Manager
• Direct Reports: 6-8 Software and Infrastructure Engineers
• Drive execution through planning, prioritization, and team meetings.
• Manage engineers and their careers with 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Execute and deliver new features and improvements regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or an equivalent highly technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing software developers.
• A track record of planning and delivering on multiple overlapping projects.
• Experience implementing an engineering process emphasizing security, availability, scalability, and operational discipline.
• Experience managing observability-focused systems or a demonstrated interest in observability concerns.
