Overview

Axiom Learning is seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, application architecture, and product development execution, helping to shape both technical systems and product direction.

In Short

Own day-to-day engineering execution across products
Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure
Translate product vision into technical architecture
Lead backend and frontend development
Build and maintain integrations with school district platforms
Collaborate on monetization strategy and implement analytics
Help evaluate and evolve technical stack
Maintain high code quality standards

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience
Experience managing cloud infrastructure
Experience shipping and maintaining SaaS products
Strong backend development experience (Python preferred)
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
