Information Security GRC Specialist - Remote

Overview

This role supports the operation and continual improvement of Awin’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), aligned to ISO 27001 and related standards, ensuring effective governance, risk management, compliance monitoring, and education initiatives to protect Awin’s information assets.

In Short

• Ensure compliance with local and EU information security regulations and international frameworks.
• Drive the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures.
• Support the rollout of internal control frameworks globally.
• Conduct internal audits and control testing against ISO 27001.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance.
• Support security risk management processes.
• Assist in creating and reviewing incident response playbooks.
• Review vendor contracts for compliance with risk appetite.
• Lead security awareness and training initiatives.
• Participate in incident response coordination.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an Information Security or IT Risk/Compliance role.
• Experience in an ISMS environment certified to ISO 27001.
• Familiarity with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to collaborate and build stakeholder trust.
• Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Project-oriented mindset with prioritization skills.
