Senior Internal Auditor - Remote

Overview

The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for planning, performing, and reporting auditing activities in various business units of the Company, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.

In Short

• Plan and perform auditing activities across business units.
• Evaluate the adequacy of internal control structures.
• Document audit procedures and results clearly.
• Coordinate audit activities and communicate results.
• Discuss audit findings with management and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop relationships with business units and audit team members.
• Assist in training and development of internal audit staff.
• Travel required up to 40% of the time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience required.

Requirements

• Relevant certifications like CPA, CMA, CIA, CFE, CISA, or PMP preferred.
• 2 years of audit/accounting experience at Big 4 or Fortune 500 preferred.
• Knowledge of data analytic software such as Diligent, Workiva, ACL, IDEA preferred.
• Strong understanding of business and accounting processes.
• Ability to identify and report compliance exceptions.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in developing positive relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
