Overview

The Director, Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to support the commercial success of our DM1 (Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1) product portfolio. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to help drive product launches, market penetration, and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the biotechnology and rare disease markets, with a proven track record in marketing strategy, product management, and team leadership.

  • Manage multiple agency partners and associated budgets.
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic brand plans.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams for alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing within biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches.
  • Previous HCP marketing experience required.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in digital marketing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires up to approx. 30% travel.
