Avalere Health is seeking a strong medical writer with copywriting skills to work on a broad range of commercially-oriented medical projects, ensuring all work is medically accurate and creatively on point.

In Short

• Lead medical writing and copywriting projects for promotional medical communications.
• Partner with creative directors on campaign creatives.
• Provide a point of contact with clients, driving conversations and content strategy.
• Ensure on-brand messaging and accurate content.
• Collaborate with art directors and production teams on projects.
• Deliver presentations to creative and medical teams.
• Reference and annotate all work according to client review procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in medical communications or healthcare advertising/marketing.
• Experience with a range of medical communications projects.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific area of study.
• Strong client service skills and commitment to quality.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Advanced PC or Mac experience with MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
