Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant is responsible for multiple processes within accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and work within time constraints and deadlines.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Monitor invoices and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Enter and review vendor invoices in NetSuite.
• Prepare sales tax returns and assist with audits.
• Ensure accuracy in financial documents and reports.
• Assist in preparing invoices and month-end workbooks.
• Review contracts for accuracy.
• Manage credit card transactions and expense reports.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• A proactive team player who is adaptable.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
