Overview

The Senior Data Quality Assurance Analyst will focus on the backend of proprietary software, validating the quality and accuracy of data collected and creating test plans to ensure software performance.

In Short

• Own and define the QA strategy for data-centric software applications.
• Lead manual and automated testing across complex systems.
• Review requirements, data models, and system designs to identify risks.
• Drive end-to-end testing including functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Build and automate data validation scripts using SQL, GraphQL, or other tools.
• Lead validation of complex data pipelines and transformations.
• Perform advanced data analysis to identify data integrity issues.
• Review ETL/ELT processes and ensure alignment with quality requirements.
• Champion automation-first approaches in CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide actionable insights on quality risks and trends.

Requirements

• Completed a QA certification or relevant degree.
• 8+ years in Quality Assurance, with 3 focused on data.
• Experience with SQL and test automation.
• Highly analytical with the ability to create and report on test cases.
• Proven ability to synthesize information for relevant test cases.
• Demonstrates strong judgment in test case execution.
• Collaborative team player across multiple functions.
• Excellent communicator with attention to detail.
• Provides engaging feedback to developers and product managers.
