Overview

The ideal candidate will understand business process management and business requirements of the customers and translate them to specific software requirements encompassing functional and technical requirements. The candidate will serve as an information resource, by providing expert knowledge of U.S. State and Federal statutes and regulations, and financial aid office practices in other states.

  • Perform analyses and develop plans based on requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent writing and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in the Higher Education industry, particularly in financial aid systems.
  • Utilize Agile Software Development methodologies.
  • Maintain positive client relationships.
  • Work with JIRA and Confluence.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a business analysis role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Ability to support testing and training activities.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to articulate messages clearly to varied audiences.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
