Vice President of Finance - Remote

Overview

Jetvia is building a next-generation aviation company that is remote-first, operationally complex, and scaling quickly across markets. As Vice President of Finance, you will serve as the company’s most senior finance and accounting leader, reporting directly to the EVP. You will own the full finance and accounting function end-to-end — from the general ledger and monthly close to financial planning, strategic analysis, and executive reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will not only lead and develop a mid-size team of 4–8 finance and accounting professionals, but you will also roll up your sleeves to build models, own deliverables, and drive analysis yourself. The entire accounting and finance function reports to you, and you are accountable for the rigor, accuracy, and strategic value of everything it produces.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated track record in budgeting and forecasting.
• Hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounting.
• Advanced financial modeling skills with deep Excel proficiency.
• Strong communication skills for synthesizing complex financial information.
• Proven ability to lead as a hands-on individual contributor.
• Experience managing or building a finance team.
• Strong business partnering instincts.
