Vice President of Finance - Remote

Overview

Aligned Modern Health is creating a new standard of healthcare. As the largest evidence-based holistic healthcare practice in the Midwest, we operate 16 clinics across Chicago with a rapidly expanding telehealth practice that is currently serving patients in 20+ states and growing.

In Short

• Manage financial analysis, reporting and revenue cycle operations.
• Act as a strategic business partner to senior executive leadership.
• Create and establish yearly financial budgets and objectives.
• Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports.
• Supervise the accounting team and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
• Oversee revenue cycle processes and relationships with third-party vendors.
• Engage with the Board of Directors for financial planning.
• Manage cash flow and investment opportunities.
• Lead in financial relations with banks and investors.
• Oversee internal metrics reporting and regulatory processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• 10+ years of accounting or finance experience, with 4+ years in leadership.
• Outstanding knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance.
• Experience with PowerBI or other visualization tools preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and confidence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with external auditors and compliance issues.
