Monitoring & Evaluation Program Officer - Remote

Overview

The Monitoring & Evaluation Program Officer will support the design, management, and monitoring of programs aimed at improving maternal and newborn survival in Africa.

In Short

• Support development of country investment plans and investment recommendations.
• Ensure data availability and quality for monitoring and evaluation.
• Monitor programmatic effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct periodic data analyses and prepare reports.
• Manage grants administration and facilitate timely grant payments.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and partners.
• Travel locally and internationally as needed (30-50% of the time).
• Contribute to organizational learning and strategy development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5-7 years’ experience in program management and evaluation.
• Advanced degree in Medical Statistics, Epidemiology, or related field.
• Understanding of global health issues related to maternal and newborn health.
• Exceptional interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and presentation.
• Knowledge of health systems in focus countries.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
