Roads & Grounds Labourer - Remote Camp

Overview

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Roads and Grounds Labourer to join our Camp Services team in Northern British Columbia. The Roads and Grounds Labourer is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all walking paths & roadways as well as all grounds and vegetation on the project.

In Short

• Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of walking paths and roadways.
• Perform snow and ice removal, mowing, raking, and weeding.
• Safely operate hand-held equipment and tools.
• Operate various equipment including bobcat and dump truck.
• Collect and dispose of refuse and debris.
• Maintain the exterior of buildings and grounds.
• Organize and maintain supplies required for maintenance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a groundskeeper/landscaper.
• Valid OSSA or OSHA certificates in relevant areas.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid class 3 driver’s license.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating relevant equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office.
• Able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
