Principal Intellectual Property - Remote

Overview

This role supports operations for the AT&T Intellectual Property (IP) team, managing resources, supplier relationships, software applications and interactions of the team with business units and inventors.

In Short

• Support operations for the Intellectual Property team.
• Create reports and provide data analytics as requested by leadership.
• Manage project timelines and vendor interactions.
• Determine technology upgrades for IP efficiency.
• Liaison with external contributors and manage applications for the IP team.
• Software onboarding and maintenance for all IP Applications.
• Lead vendor onboarding and manage invoicing.
• Identify the best inventions with Technology and Patent teams.
• Basic management of SharePoint and Patent software.
• Work collaboratively to support the IP team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Problem-solving mindset and critical thinking ability.
• Ability to use Excel functions and PowerBI.
• Open to new ideas and ways of doing things.
• Ability to learn new applications.
• Basic knowledge of SharePoint.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams.
