Senior Government Security Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Senior Government Security Specialist will support AT&T's Federal Segment by ensuring compliance with government security regulations and providing technical support related to security programs.

In Short

• Process and maintain records of cleared program personnel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulating government security.
• Provide technical support regarding government agency security programs.
• Act as program security officer for various USG programs.
• Manage personnel security clearances and vetting processes.
• Develop and implement security policies for new programs.
• Conduct security training sessions and awareness programs.
• Investigate security infractions and manage incident response plans.
• Interact with federal agencies regarding security policies.
• Lead projects with strategic value and operate autonomously.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial security.
• Experience with clearance processing and government security systems.
• Knowledge of USG agency security policies and procedures.
• Ability to develop and implement security training materials.
• Strong interpersonal skills for advising personnel on security matters.
• Experience managing classified information and document control.
• Interdisciplinary knowledge of security principles.
• Preferred experience with Public Trust Suitability processing.
