Senior Security Specialist - Remote

Overview

Our Client is seeking a Senior Security Specialist to lead security efforts across our smart contracts, blockchain infrastructure, and distributed systems. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted domain expert, shaping secure-by-design principles and guiding teams through threat modeling, architecture reviews, incident response, and proactive tooling deployment.

In Short

• Lead threat modeling sessions and security architecture reviews for smart contracts and core systems
• Design, deploy, and maintain security tools for code analysis, intrusion detection, and monitoring
• Drive incident response efforts, including root-cause analysis and remediation planning
• Audit smart contracts and backend services for vulnerabilities, logic flaws, and unsafe patterns
• Define secure development guidelines, internal standards, and risk mitigation strategies
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of secure software development
• Represent the organization in external research forums, audits, and security communities

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in application or protocol security, ideally within blockchain or Web3 environments
• Expertise in smart contract auditing and blockchain-specific security tools (e.g., Slither, MythX, Foundry, Echidna)
• Strong understanding of static and dynamic analysis techniques, threat modeling, and vulnerability research
• Fluency in secure coding practices, with the ability to assess and improve system-wide security postures
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with engineering, product, and legal teams
