ASP.NET Core Developer with Power BI Expertise - Remote

Overview

ASSYST is looking for a talented ASP.NET Core Developer with expertise in Power BI to join our client’s team for a 100% remote opportunity and contribute to exciting projects for Special Education funded applications. These applications also integrate with other agency systems, driving both business intelligence and web development forward.

In Short

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using ASP.NET Core.
• Design and implement data models and reports using Power BI.
• Implement solutions using Microsoft technologies, including C#, Visual Studio, and SQL Server.
• Develop and maintain Web APIs using .NET Core.
• Design and maintain database schemas and SQL queries.
• Utilize Entity Framework Core for ORM-based operations.
• Work with front-end technologies like TypeScript, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Write integration and unit tests for applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL Server and database design.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Extensive experience with Power BI.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Power Query.
• Understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL Database.
• Experience with Angular and cloud platforms like Azure.
