Product Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a versatile, persistent product engineer who’s not afraid to set up reusable building blocks across the stack and advocate for the time and space to do so. In Short

• Take ownership over a large portion of one of our products and own projects end-to-end.
• Research competitors, write product specs, and make wireframes.
• Design and build automated candidate scheduling features.
• Build a generalized filter architecture for user-facing features.
• Implement features that allow users to complete signing offers within Ashby.

• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience with full-stack development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Ability to tackle projects with product and technical ambiguity.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ambition to improve skills and take on more responsibilities.
• Experience in leading and owning projects.
• Ability to create leverage in work through automation and abstraction.
• Comfortable with customer interaction and feedback.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Open to feedback and continuous learning.
