Principal Site Reliability Engineer - Americas - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a curious, rigorous, problem-hungry site reliability engineer (who codes!) to carry the ball as we bring Ashby to the big leagues. Ashby builds software that lets talent teams build an efficient, delightful, respectful hiring process. Similarly, you’re an engineer who wants to build a “paved road” that excellent engineering teams can safely take to the moon and back.

Requirements

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields.
• Strong coding skills, particularly in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
• Experience with databases like Postgres and caching systems like Redis.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy.
• Comfort with SQL and database optimization.
• Experience in automated solutions for reliability issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to take ownership of projects and make independent decisions.
