Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software/DevOps Engineer to join our team at ASCENDING, where you will deliver scalable and high available cloud solutions to clients while engaging directly with them to understand their needs.

• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements.
• Develop, test, and deploy software solutions using AWS.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client projects.
• Communicate project status and technical issues to clients.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Provide technical support and training to clients.
• Strong communication skills required.
• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and scripting languages.
• Experience in IT consulting companies preferred.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• 7+ years of experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in relevant areas/tools.
• 3+ years experience in IT consulting.
• Experience in Python and Java scripting.
• AWS platform experience; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of open-source technologies and cloud services.
• Familiarity with continuous integration platforms like Jenkins.
• Experience with source code repositories like Git.
