Articul8 AI is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to shape the backend infrastructure of our enterprise GenAI platform. If you have a proven track record of building scalable, cloud-based systems from the ground up, then this is the role for you!

In Short

• Serve as a technical lead, architecting and designing complex cloud native and cloud agnostic-based infrastructure for building and scaling our enterprise GenAI platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, applied research, customer success and technology teams contributing to roadmap planning and technology evaluations.
• Passionate about data, cloud infrastructure challenges at scale.
• Be a hands-on engineer who delivers solutions that set the example for rapid innovation, engineering excellence, from architecture to algorithms to implementations.
• Mentor and develop engineers, help define and grow the technical culture, and assist in attracting and retaining engineering talent.
• Rotating responsibilities for on-call when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A proven track record as a technical leader in developing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance cloud-native infrastructure.
• Hands-on involvement in the architecture, development, and deployment of reliable infrastructure.
• 8+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing software engineers.
• Practical Expertise in one or more cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP including scaling with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash.
• Experience with service mesh (Linkerd, Istio) and API gateways (Kong, Traefik).
