Senior PeopleSoft Technical Consultant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to join a long-term project for a U.S.-based client. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in reporting (OpenXML/Excel) and system performance monitoring to support the optimization and stability of the client's PeopleSoft environment. This role will provide dedicated support alongside the client’s lead consultant and focus on critical performance and reporting needs.

In Short

• Lead the transition from Excel-based reports to OpenXML formats.
• Design, build, and optimize reports using OpenXML and Excel technologies.
• Troubleshoot and stabilize the PeopleSoft Performance Monitor to ensure consistent uptime and functionality.
• Analyze system performance issues such as user kick-outs and slowness, leveraging monitoring tools for insights.
• Provide proactive technical support and work closely with the client’s internal team.
• Act as a dedicated counterpart to the current lead consultant, ensuring operational continuity and technical follow-through.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical PeopleSoft environment.
• Strong expertise in OpenXML, Excel-based reporting, and data extraction.
• Proven experience resolving performance issues in enterprise systems.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
