In Short

• We are looking for a highly capable Environmental Claims Adjuster to join our team.
• Work from any of our offices, focusing on adjudicating first and third party commercial environmental claims.
• Adjudicate environmental claims of higher technical complexity.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly.
• Analyze claims forms, policies, and endorsements.
• Manage claims in litigation and prepare reports for file documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships are essential.
• Must possess strong negotiation skills and customer focus.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and other business-related software.
• Licensed Claims Examiner required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Minimum of two years' experience adjudicating commercial environmental claims.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Demonstrates understanding of claims settlement dispute mechanisms.
• Must demonstrate a desire for continued professional development.
• Ability to articulate the financial value of your work.
• Must be licensed or have the ability to quickly obtain a license in each jurisdiction.
