Overview

Aretum is seeking a skilled and experienced Proposal Writer to assist in generating high-quality content for RFP responses, for federal contracts. This is a 1099 Consultant role, ideal for candidates with a strong background in Cybersecurity, Security Operations and proposal writing.

In Short

• Collaborate with Business Development and Capture teams to understand proposal requirements and deadlines.
• Develop, write, and edit proposal content that is compliant and tailored to RFP needs.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills required.
• Research and incorporate relevant data to enhance proposal content.
• Write and review technical volume responses including security approaches and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with federal standards (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, CMMC).
• Align proposed solutions with agency-specific architecture standards.
• Apply enterprise architecture frameworks to structure proposed solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of federal contracting regulations.
• Assist in developing supporting materials such as executive summaries and presentations.
