Overview

Ardelyx is a publicly traded commercial biopharmaceutical company founded with a mission to discover, develop and commercialize innovative first-in-class medicines that meet significant unmet medical needs. Ardelyx has two commercial products approved in the United States, IBSRELA® (tenapanor) and XPHOZAH® (tenapanor). Ardelyx has agreements for the development and commercialization of tenapanor outside of the U.S. Kyowa Kirin commercializes PHOZEVEL® (tenapanor) for hyperphosphatemia in Japan. A New Drug Application for tenapanor for hyperphosphatemia has been submitted in China with Fosun Pharma. Knight Therapeutics commercializes IBSRELA in Canada.

In Short

• Serving as a field-based extension of Ardelyx, Medical Affairs.
• Building long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the GI community.
• Delivering clinical, scientific, and technical education supporting IBSRELA®.
• Providing medical information and scientific exchange to stakeholders.
• Engaging in proactive discussions regarding scientific issues.
• Supporting data generation activities and Investigator Sponsored Trials.
• Participating in advisory boards and medical conferences.
• Traveling 60-70% locally.
• Maintaining knowledge of medical and scientific developments.
• Working in a corporate office or remote-based environment.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DNP) or Advanced Medical/Scientific degree (NP, PA) with 2-5 years of experience.
• Clinical expertise within gastroenterology preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Critical data analysis skills.
• Networking skills to interact with senior experts.
• Knowledge of FDA and OIG requirements.
• Ability to travel 60-70% locally.
