Market Access Business Analyst & Data Architect (Part-Time Contractor) - Remote

Overview

Ardelyx is a publicly traded commercial biopharmaceutical company founded with a mission to discover, develop and commercialize innovative first-in-class medicines that meet significant unmet medical needs. Ardelyx has two commercial products approved in the United States, IBSRELA® (tenapanor) and XPHOZAH® (tenapanor). Ardelyx has agreements for the development and commercialization of tenapanor outside of the U.S. Kyowa Kirin commercializes PHOZEVEL® (tenapanor) for hyperphosphatemia in Japan. A New Drug Application for tenapanor for hyperphosphatemia has been approved in China with Fosun Pharma. Knight Therapeutics commercializes IBSRELA in Canada.

In Short

• Part-time position (20–25 hours per week) for a 3-month assignment.
• Design and implement data frameworks for pharmaceutical market access.
• Identify and resolve data gaps in Specialty Pharmacy datasets.
• Develop analytics-ready datasets to support business insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into data requirements.
• Proactively implement data quality control rules.
• Design and document business rules for data accuracy.
• Pressure test data models for efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with data engineering teams to optimize data structures.
• Requires 8–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical data.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience with pharmaceutical data related to contracting and market access.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Specialty Pharmacy data.
• Experience in patient tokenization processes and business logic development.
• Extensive experience in Analytics Ready Data design and development.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
