Fire Protection Federal Subject Matter Expert - Remote

Overview

Arcadis is looking to hire a Fire Protection Federal SME (Subject Matter Expert) to support the Places Design & Engineering group. The ideal candidate would be a fire protection engineer with extensive experience in facility design related to United States federal agencies.

In Short

• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff.
• Develop construction-ready design packages.
• Deep knowledge of life safety codes.
• Knowledge of industry standards and federal agency standards.
• Develop budgets, proposals, and project plans.
• Fluency in design and modeling software including Revit and SpecsIntact.
• Travel to project sites for surveys and collaboration.
• Skilled in designing fire protection systems in various facilities.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or fire protection engineering with 10-15 years of experience.

Requirements

• Fire Protection Professional Engineering Licensure in the U.S.
• Extensive experience producing IFC design packages.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with team members.
