Civil Engineer Federal Subject Matter Expert - Remote

Overview

Arcadis is looking to hire a Civil Engineer Federal SME (Subject Matter Expert) to support the Places Design & Engineering group. The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineer with extensive experience in facility design for United States Federal Agencies.

In Short

• Remote position with 35% domestic travel.
• Lead civil discipline on multiple concurrent projects.
• Work with various engineering disciplines and clients.
• Develop budgets, proposals, and project plans.
• Fluency in design software like Civil 3D and AutoCAD is required.
• Manage client relationships throughout project phases.
• Mentor junior staff and lead design teams.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• 10-15 years of experience in consulting engineering.
• Professional Engineering Licensure in the U.S. is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Extensive experience producing IFC design packages.
• Strong communication skills for presentations and project communications.
• Ability to build positive relationships with team members.
• Experience with federal agency projects is a plus.
