As a Senior Software Engineer (Node.js), you'll tackle complex challenges, from crafting compelling front-end applications to integrating with diverse providers and scaling our AWS cloud infrastructure. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our platform is scalable, secure, and high-performing.

In Short

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance systems for our platform.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and stakeholders.
• Develop in a data-intensive, distributed environment using NodeJS, TypeScript, React, and AWS services.
• Innovate by designing and building new functionality.
• Establish best practices and frameworks for the team.
• Write clean, testable code and support engineering best practices.
• Contribute to team decisions regarding goals, timelines, and technology stack.
• Own features end-to-end from architecture to monitoring.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in full-stack roles.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js/React, Node.js, MySQL, and AWS.
• Strong software engineering principles: clean code, modularity, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable, distributed systems.
• Self-motivated and able to navigate a fast-changing startup environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Bonus: Experience with ReactNative/Expo is a plus.
