Overview

Aquia is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to help lead the delivery of a critical identity services project at the Department of Veterans Affairs, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within scope while upholding the highest standards of security, compliance, and quality.

In Short

• Manage end-to-end project delivery for a major identity services initiative.
• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and cybersecurity specialists.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and reports.
• Foster a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with federal IT and cybersecurity guidelines.
• Identify, track, and manage project risks.
• Create and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management with an emphasis on IT or cybersecurity solutions.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in federal IT or cybersecurity environments.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of identity and access management principles.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CSM) is a plus.
