Product Manager - Developer Tools - Remote

Overview

As a Product Manager at Apollo, you’ll provide platform engineers with the tools, capabilities, and controls they need to deploy, operate, and scale Apollo’s Federated GraphQL runtime layer.

In Short

• Define and drive Apollo’s vision for how APIs are federated and queried.
• Own and evolve Apollo’s ability to provide API query planning insights across the development lifecycle.
• Build and evangelize a roadmap across internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and validate new GraphOS capabilities directly with industry-leading customers.
• Lead product development lifecycles and technical product management.
• Deep experience with APIs and algorithms.
• Identify value and develop a clear product vision from the customer’s perspective.
• Adept at reasoning technical tradeoffs.
• Strong entrepreneurial drive and leadership skills.
• Excited about GraphQL and modern developer tooling.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (nice to have).
• 8+ years of experience in Product Management within the developer tooling space (nice to have).
• Direct experience with GraphQL, API middleware, or scaled API platforms (nice to have).
