AWS Administrator - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Administrator to manage and optimize our Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS solutions, ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our cloud environments.

In Short

• Establish configuration, compliance, and audit program for AWS accounts.
• Monitor rightsizing, elasticity, and storage optimization for clients.
• Maintain cloud-based servers, patch vulnerabilities, and provision new servers.
• Deploy and manage Amazon EKS clusters for containerized applications.
• Implement Kubernetes best practices for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Manage account containerization and monitor cost allocations.
• Use AWS Config to monitor and track resource configuration.
• Utilize AWS CloudTrail for compliance audits.
• Set controls to monitor compliance and use monitoring tools.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure and cloud environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years of Cloud Administration Experience.
• Excellent technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure.
• Strong system administration experience in Windows and Linux.
• Experience with automation frameworks (SaltStack, Puppet, etc.).
• Knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
• Experience in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and processes.
