Overview

The Integration Director leads and orchestrates all post-merger integration activities across diverse business units, ensuring strategic objectives and synergies are achieved.

In Short

• Lead cross-functional integration teams to ensure seamless assimilation of acquired companies across industries.
• Define integration strategy, scope, and execution plans aligned with deal rationale and business goals.
• Develop and manage post-close integration playbooks, timelines, and KPIs tailored to project-based workflows.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to establish integration priorities and mitigate risks.
• Communicate regularly with executive stakeholders, providing progress updates and resolving escalated issues.
• Identify and track synergies, cost savings, and performance metrics.
• Champion cultural integration and employee engagement throughout transition periods.
• Conduct post-mortem assessments to inform integration improvements.
• Preparation of status updates for the board.
• Oversee the full integration lifecycle, ensuring each transaction delivers long-term value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Sciences.
• 10+ years of experience in M&A, business transformation, or strategic project management.
• Proven success in leading large-scale integration initiatives across multiple functions.
• Working knowledge of the integration process and post-integration stabilization.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with executive leadership.
• Familiarity with change management frameworks and tools.
• Experience in establishing and managing a Project Management Office (PMO).
• Able to travel up to 30%.
