Project Manager - Transit Division - Remote

Overview

As a member of the Transit division, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project requirements, managing stakeholders, and leading project teams. You will also contribute to brainstorming, handle administrative tasks, and improve project management structures.

In Short

• Responsible for complete project management while adhering to agreed milestones, including risk management and process management.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications (quality, time, budget).
• Project-specific stakeholder management, including order and contract negotiations.
• Proactive contribution to brainstorming, feasibility studies, and business case development.
• Handle daily organizational and administrative tasks in the Project Management Office (PMO).
• Actively contribute to the development and optimization of internal project management structures and processes.
• Lead multifunctional project teams, some of which operate internationally.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent vocational training with further education as a technician.
• Relevant professional experience in an industrial environment is desirable.
• Initial experience in project management within the railway industry is an advantage.
• PMI certification is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office and design programs (CAD, PFD, etc.) is preferred.
• Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage.
• Independent, structured, and well-organized working style.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in further training.
