Overview

Anglo American, in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation, is developing the Quellaveco mining operation, one of the largest copper deposits in the world, located in the Moquegua region of southern Peru.

In Short

• Responsible for preparing, negotiating, and forming complex contracts.
• Continuously review the progress of each contract.
• Provide information and reports on commercial, financial, legal, or technical issues related to contracts.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and procedures.
• Define requirements for procurement of goods and services.
• Deliver contracts within committed timelines.
• Manage cost efficiency and promote best sourcing practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to generate sustainable value.
• Implement business models to maximize local company participation.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and supply chain regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Commercial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, International Business, or related fields.
• Advanced English level (desirable).
• Desirable diploma or master's in finance, MBA, or supply chain management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining industry in procurement areas.
• Experience with SAP.
• Advanced skills in Excel, databases, and PowerBI.
• Experience in contract negotiations with local and international suppliers.
• Experience in performance reporting and dashboards.
• Experience in developing strategies for local company development.
• Experience in conflict resolution.
