Overview

Ancestry is seeking a Platform Engineer, Co-Op to join our EKS Platform team, where you will build and maintain the Kubernetes infrastructure that powers our applications.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in cloud-native tooling (e.g., ArgoCD, Helm).
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Strong scripting/programming skills (e.g., Bash, Go, Python).
• Collaborative mindset.
