Overview

AnaVation is looking for an experienced Modeling Data Engineer – Ontologist to lead the design and development of formal ontologies and data models for complex domains, ensuring they meet evolving system requirements.

In Short

• Lead the design and development of formal ontologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience as an ontologist in a federal agency environment.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
• Proficient in Python, C#, and JavaScript.
• Familiar with SQL and No-SQL query languages.
• Knowledge of data storage formats like JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Familiarity with the software development cycle.
• Extensive experience in building unit tests.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
