Senior Data Warehouse Developer - Remote

Overview

This Senior Data Warehouse Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions to enable advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence across the organization. This individual will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, performance, and security within our On-Prem and Azure-based data ecosystem.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and SQL Server.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Stored Procedures and Azure Data Factory.
• Design and implement data models optimized for analytics and reporting.
• Leverage Azure Databricks for data transformation and advanced data engineering workloads.
• Optimize performance of queries, ETL jobs, and data models.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security through best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Automate workflows and deployment processes using CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SSRS and Tableau.
• Stay current with Azure data services and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data warehouse development within the Microsoft BI stack.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL) and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL development and SSRS for reporting.
• Expertise with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience with Azure Databricks for data transformation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and dimensional design.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate) are a plus.
