Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

AMP is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst who will be remote in the United States. The Senior Financial Analyst will report to our Sr. Manager, Corporate Finance and will work closely with our Finance and Accounting teams while getting exposure to executive management.

In Short

• Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare recurring financial reporting packages for management and investors.
• Provide financial analysis and decision-making support to business unit leaders.
• Ensure the AMP Corporate Model reflects the latest business assumptions.
• Provide regular financial updates to department leaders.
• Provide FP&A support to the Accounting team.
• Analyze key business trends and report findings to management.
• Strengthen internal financial forecasting and analysis processes.
• Support commercial team in various project modeling exercises.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly Board of Directors presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus.
• Minimum 3-5+ years of related experience in FP&A or similar financial role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Deep understanding of the three main financial statements.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Innate intellectual curiosity.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work productively.
• Critical thinking prowess.
• Strong business communication skills.
• Business analytics and/or data visualization tool experience a plus.
