Overview

The Manager of Compute Infrastructure at Amgen is responsible for managing complex server environments, including Windows and Linux infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, security, and automation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 4-6 years or Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows server systems.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Acropolis).
• Solid understanding of networking and storage integration.
• Hands-on expertise in scripting and automation tools.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
• Experience with ITIL processes and frameworks preferred.
• Professional Certifications: Microsoft Certified or RHCE preferred.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with strong ownership mindset.
