EHSS Associate - Remote

Overview

The EHSS Associate will support various requirements outlined in site EHSS programs, focusing on safety and environmental compliance disciplines within a biotechnology company.

In Short

• Support EHSS programs under the direction of the EHSS Director.
• Interact with internal clients and manage facility safety and environmental compliance.
• Assist in interpreting EHS regulations for compliance.
• Implement environmental compliance plans for various programs.
• Conduct EHS inspections and internal audits.
• Perform job hazard analyses and support safety assessments.
• Participate in emergency response activities.
• Conduct EHS training for staff and contractors.
• Assist in accident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Maintain records and documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of EHSS experience or an Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, technical, scientific or engineering fields preferred.
• 2+ years of experience developing EHS programs.
• Previous experience in the biotechnology sector preferred.
