Clinical Research Scientist - Remote

Overview

In this vital role, you will support the design, assessment, and communication of clinical programs which support the global scientific/medical evidence plan.

In Short

• Support cross-functional and global collaborations to integrate medical, scientific, and commercial input into clinical development.
• Participate in safety and regulatory interactions.
• Provide clinical/scientific input during clinical trials.
• Review data from clinical trials and support site inquiries.
• Author and QC study-related documents.
• Interpret clinical trial data and participate in safety assessments.
• Review safety narratives.
• Initiate database analyses for commercial/clinical objectives.
• Contribute to clinical study reports and regulatory submissions.
• Support interactions with regulatory agencies.
• Develop key opinion leaders and present at scientific meetings.
• Identify new clinical research opportunities.

Requirements

• Doctorate and 2 years, Master’s and 4 years, Bachelor’s and 6 years, or Associate’s and 10 years of experience in clinical trials in diabetes, obesity or metabolic diseases.
• Accredited residency in Endocrinology, board certified or equivalent.
• 2+ years of clinical research experience.
• MD preferred.
• Prior research in diabetes, obesity or metabolic diseases preferred.
• Understanding of the scientific method and clinical applications.
• Familiarity with clinical trial design and execution.
• Familiarity with regulatory agency guidelines.
• Ability to present complex medical concepts effectively.
• History of solving problems in clinical trial implementation.
