The Patient Customer Service Specialist is a part-time or full-time remote role that provides excellent customer service over the phone while handling payments for medical expenses and offering solutions that balance the needs of patients and clients.

In Short

  • Educates patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and repayment programs.
  • Maintains knowledge of expectations and procedures of Americollect's clients.
  • Available to train Monday-Friday for 4-5 weeks.
  • Work from home option available for residents of specific states.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • 1+ year(s) of customer service experience preferred.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a team culture of learning and growth preferred.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a call center environment preferred.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in medical/insurance coding and billing preferred.
