Payroll and Billing Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Payroll and Billing Specialist is responsible for managing caregiver payroll, client billing, EVV verification, and reimbursement processing in a non-skilled home care agency.

In Short

• Process weekly payroll for caregivers and field staff.
• Manage client billing for Medicaid and private pay.
• Review and verify Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) records.
• Utilize HHAExchange for schedules and claims processing.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and billing issues.
• Coordinate with management for accurate timekeeping.
• Monitor authorizations and service hours to prevent errors.
• Prepare and submit invoices in accordance with deadlines.
• Maintain accurate employee and client records.
• Generate payroll and billing reports as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of payroll and billing experience.
• Hands-on experience with HHAExchange.
• Understanding of Medicaid billing and home care compliance.
• Experience processing caregiver payroll.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
