Overview

The Payroll & Billing Assistant supports day-to-day payroll and billing operations by accurately processing employee time records, assisting with payroll preparation, and supporting billing functions for services provided.

• Assist with processing employee timecards and verifying hours worked.
• Review timesheets for accuracy, completeness, and required approvals.
• Track missing, late, or incorrect time entries.
• Enter payroll information into payroll systems accurately.
• Assist with correcting payroll errors.

• Assist with billing processes for services provided.
• Verify billing information for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll/billing documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees regarding payroll questions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in payroll, billing, or administrative support preferred.
• Experience using Paychex and/or eXPRS system preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with payroll information.
