We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who brings the passion and know-how to further develop our platform to be more stable and scalable.

In Short

• Responsible for automating our product and setup processes to reduce manual workload at amberSearch
• Work closely with our Development Team to optimize daily deployments of new software versions and troubleshoot technical issues
• Design, implement, and document improvements to our security measures for customers and external audits
• Scale deployments for dozens of clients, including large databases, container orchestration, and cloud-native tools
• Monitor incident response, work on root-cause analysis and recovery of our services to ensure minimal downtime
• Set up and maintain a robust monitoring and alerting solution to proactively identify and resolve issues within our platform

Requirements

• Professional experience with Linux-based systems (Windows Server is a plus)
• Experience deploying and managing workloads across multiple cloud providers
• Hands-on experience with K8s management, container orchestration, and related cloud-native technologies
• Strong understanding of development and operational cycles, including CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience managing data streams with tools like Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus
• Fluent in English, with extra points for German language skills
• Basic programming knowledge and comfort in Java or Python (experience with Rust or Go is a plus)
